Personal Experience
Elliot has dedicated his entire practice to serving people charged with criminal code offences all throughout Ontario. In knowing how stressful and life-altering criminal charges can be, Elliot has always strived to represent his clients as if they were members of his own family.
Elliot graduated from the University of Victoria with a B.Sc. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology. He subsequently completed a M.A. in Public Policy and Administration at Ryerson University. Elliot obtained his J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School completing exchanges at the University of Toronto and the University of Oxford. During law school, Elliot worked at the Elder Law Clinic - Wills and Estates, he served at the Ingham County Probate Court for the Honorable Richard J. Garcia and the Honorable George Economy and acted as Guardian Ad Litem for the Court. Elliot also served as a judicial-extern for the Honorable Rosemarie Aquilina in the 30th Circuit Court for Ingham County.
Elliot serves as one of three advisory lawyers to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto. Elliot is the advisory lawyer to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Canada. Elliot has served as speaker in multiple engagements through the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea and through the Korean Canadian Women’s Association.
Elliot’s practice includes serving individuals in all jurisdictions in Ontario who are charged with all manner of criminal, CDSA, quasi-criminal, Highway Traffic Act, Provincial Offences Act, and other regulatory offences. Elliot accepts Legal Aid.
